Water-mixed mortar is a form of thin-set mortar. It is a combination of Portland cement, sand and an element that promotes the water retention. It is usually mixed by the person installing the tile. SA812 Adhesive for tile is a general purpose grey cement based powder adhesive for fixing ceramic tiles to walls and floors.the adhesive was designed for easy use, allowing up to 3 hours pot life after mixing.

Note: When fixing lightweight or soft backed wall tiles the adhesive bed thickness should not exceed 5mm

It is suitable for fixing ceramic tiles, clinker brick, glass and other mosaics to non-problematic wall surfaces (lime, lime-cement and cement plasters/renders) and floor surfaces (concrete, cement overlays). It is suitable for underfloor heating areas.

Water and freeze resistant and temperature resistant (-40°C – +70°C). Foot Traffic: after 12 hours.

Field of Application

 1) Used to fix tiles with any water absorption

Substrate requirement

The substrate should be hard, sound, dry, flat, clean and durable

 Substrate Preparation

1) Substrate should be flat ,hard, level, dry, and clean with normal absorption 

2)  Clean the surface until free of grease, dust or any stains

3) Old paint or plaster should be removed

4) Substrate been repaired should be preserved at least 48 hours

1) Ambient temperature: 5°C~35°C

2) Avoid application if too hot or freezing weather

3) Avoid application under direct sunlight and strong wind
