Chemical Name: Potassium Nitrophenolate
Physical and chemical properties
Molecular Formula: C7H6NO4K, C6H4NO3K, C6H4NO3K
Molecular weight: 207.11, 177.1, 177.1
Structural Formula:
Description: Red powder. Mixture of Potassium 5-Nitrophenolate, Potassium ortho-Nitrophenolate and Potassium para-Nitrophenolate by the ratio of 1:2:3. Stable in room temperature, flammable when meeting open flame. Soluble in water easily. It Can dissolve in polarity organic solvent such as ethanol, methanol and acetone etc. Have Phenol smell.
Application: Its activity is the same as compound sodium nitrophenolate. It is known that phenol compounds are insoluble in water so they are usually inverted to their salt which is soluble in water. Compound sodium nitrophenolate is the salt inverted by sodium hydroxide and compound potassium nitrophenolate by potassium hydroxide. The molecular weight of potassium nitrophenolate is 182 which is higher than sodium nitrophenolate so its utilizing rate is lower than the latter. While potassium phenol salt is comparatively soluble better in water so it is preferred to be used in high concentration liquid.
Storage: Keep in cool and dry place; 2years.
Expiry date: 2 years(Keep in cool and dry place)
Application method:
It is good for the plant growth. And can mix with fungicide, like emulsifiable concentrate , wettable powder ,powderaqueous solution , aqueous suspension concentrate, etc. It can improve the effection of fungicide by 30% or more. The fungicide can go into effect in 1~2 days. And this does not need any assistant and change your production process. It has not any toxic and side effects.
The recommended dosage is 6mg/Kg.
