One way expansion device, also called throttle, is widely used in central air condition units which connecting to multi terminal units,  this device is used to control the refrigerant to maximized flow, so to get the appropriated cooling capacity;

inside the throttle housing, different sizes of piston can be replaced with #060 / 070 / 080 / 090/ 096/ 102/106;

Throttle connection size:  3/4"-16UNF  or 5/8-18UNF

One way throttle is for cooling only;
