When selected the ioniser will replace negative ions in the air that have been destroyed by the operation of electronic equipment and pollution, making the air feel fresher.The Sanyo ABC-HP14 air cleaner is simple to use with an off and on button for continuous use or a timer function with 3 programs so the unit will shut off after 1 hr, 2 hrs or 8 hrs.There are 3 fan speed settings with the lowest ideal for quiet night time operation.The filter within this air cleaner should be replaced generally every 2 years.
