Hatching Instruction For Artemia Cysts

Hatching Condition For Maximum Harvest:

Temperature: 22-28°c 77-82°FPH:7.5-8.5 (Adjust with soda ash if necessary)Illumination: 2000 Lux. at water surface.Aeration: sufficient to keep the artemia cysts in suspension.Density: Add 1-1.5g artemia cysts per liter of hatching solution.Solution: Prepare the saline solution or natural seawater with gravity 1.021-1.023 or salinity 25-35 ppt

Hatching Tank:

Prepare the plastic/glass bottle for small quantity hatching or 300-500 liter FRP tank with conical shape bottom for large quantity.Install the air tube on the bottom of the tank.

Hatching and Harvest:

After 18-24 hours hatching is complete. Stop the aeration for 10-15 minutes and cover the top of the tank to let the nauplii setting down to the bottom of the tank. Then siphon or draw the nauplii out of the tank and collect with 150 mesh dip net.
