For a homemade preserve, why not try a plum and apple jam?
Place your Maslin pan on a cooker top.Prepare below Ingredients:750g plums, 750g apples (peeled and cored), 450ml water and 1.5kg sugar
Simply wash the plums and apples and place in a Maslin pan with water.Cook the fruit slowly until the skins of the plums are softened.Add the sugar, stir over low heat until dissolved, bring to the boil and boil rapidly until setting point is reached.Remove the stones as they rise to the surface.Then remove from the heat, skim off any residue and spoon mixture into a clean jar, seal and label.Stainless steel mixer bowl
