ATAI window and door systems used are capable as a minimum of meeting the following requirements:
& Composition
Only CPE modified Unplasticised PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) meeting the requirement of RAL RG716/1 and DIN 7748/0803528 are used. No reworked materials are to be used in any profile.
&Durability
The systems are resistant to chemicals, and be fungal and vermin proof. Our profiles are colorfast , being able to withstand weather and light resistance test of 6000 hours on xenon and weather apparatus.
&Color
The system color is uniform and color consistency.
&Fire Resistance
The UPVC are classed as self extinguishing to prevent support or enhancement of accidental fires.
&Quality Control
The extrusion process is quality control and the appropriate standard relating to impact strength, technical performance and consistency.
&Window Performance
ATAI windows meet the requirements with respect to air permeability, water tightness and wind resistance up to 2400 pa.
&Glazing Beads
Glazing beads are of the one foot snap in design and are extruded PVC U mitred at the corners. All glazing beads are with a co-extruded gasket of a multi-fin design to maintain security and weather performance. Gasket materials are thermo Plastic Elastomer.
&Glazing Gasket:
All glazing gaskets as well as weather seals are to be extruded from non migratory EPDM.
Glazing gaskets are a continuous length.
&Weather Seals
Weather seals are consist of a double sealing systems. Seals on the sash and the frame are continuous length.
&Glazing
All glazing are internal beaded. The windows are constructed in such a manner that the glazing pr deglazing can take place without the removal of the sash or the frame.
&Reinforcement
All transoms and mullions are fully reinforced, irrespective of size, with corrosion resistant galvanized steel. Reinforcing is secured by suitable screws.
