Resin color developer RD9880

Brief introduction of RD9880:

RD9880 is a resin color developer of zinc salicylate type with rapid color developing at low temperature and normal temperature. Meanwhile, it can maintain high speed in color developing and good color intensity. It has good performance in resistance to aging, besides the following advantages: Low viscosity, convenient formula, low foam and so on. It is widely used in carbonless copying paper industry.

Note: The partial diameter distribution in the standard specially refers to cumulative frequency of 0-1μm.

The application method recommended :

The preparation process of the CF paste: Fill water into the tank, and then add dispersant and solid materials while stirring. Stir at the high speed till the mixture becomes homogeneous. And then decrease the stirring speed, add prepared starch adhesive. Stir it for 15-20 min. And then adjust pH value to the range of 8.0-8.5. Slowly add color developer. Stir for the certain time till the color developer is homogeneously distributed. Slowly add SBR latex, and stir it for 15-20min. The pH value of the final CF paste pH value shall be 7.0-7.5.

Packing, storage and transportation:

The packaging of RD 9880 is plastic barrel (220 kg/barrel). Besides, other packing method can be adopted according to buyer’s requirement. The product packing should avoid colliding or cutting with by edge tool to prevent leakage.The product can be transported by truck, train, or vessel.The storage temperature required is 0-50 °C. The shelf life is six months

4.    The product of RD9880 is non-toxic and no corrosive. If it contacts with the skin by carelessness, rinse with detergent and water thoroughly.
