It can reset and refill the chip IC on the Epson intelligent ink cartridge, and do not change the property of the cartridge, then the empty cartridge can be reused after the ink is refilled.
It can automomatically identify the type of the ink cartridge, and then reset the chip on the cartridge into a full mode. It can be compatible with most of the Epson intelligent ink cartridge in the market.

Reset Procedure:
1. Align the cartridge to the corect notch on the reset unit so that the chip contacts and the pins on the resetter meet.
2. Keep the two units in firm contact. If the red light is blanking, it shows the two units contact well.
3. If the red light turns to green, it shows the reset operation is successful.
4. Cartridge is now ready to refilling with ink.
Using instruction:
1. Don't need to use adapter when it reset 9 pins chip, chip contact meets the pin directly.
2. Keep cartridge and the chip resetter in firm contact. The red light is blanking.
3. If the red light turns to gree, it shows thes reset operation is successful.
4. Cartridge is now ready for refilling with ink.
Trouble shooting:
1. After the red light flash, it stays on and doesn't turn gree
a. The pins on the resister are not in good contact with the chip on the cartridge, the contact maybe durty on oily.
b. If the ink cartridge is not an original Epson brand ink cartridge,the chip may be not compatible with the resister.
c. If the ink cartridge is an original Epson brand ink cartridge, the chip may be turned out or Epson may have changed the chip design. But it still can work with this kind of ink cartridge to fulfill the level, only the green light won't shine, the red light does.
2. The printing quanlity is not good
a. The quanlity of the ink you are using may be inferior. We recommend using inks that are specifically matched to Epson's original color and other characterisitics. (Especially if you are printing digital photographs).
b. Air bubbles entrapped in ink. To avoid this,inject the ink very slowly. Also, allow the cartridge to rest for 24 hours with the ink exit nozzles facing down before using.
Refill instruction:
1. Drill hole on the cartridge which is use up or nearly use up.
Attention: Filling ink when 10% ink left in the cartridge, then use this chip resetter to reset chip. In this way, it can prevent original chip becoming compatible chip(the printer show it is not original cartridge for each printing), avoid original cartridge sensor broken easily.
2. Stuff the rubber on the air hole.
3. Insert the vacuum refill tool into hole of cartridge, take up and down the refill tool, the cartridge can be full after doing it several times.
4. Stuff the rubber on the filling hole, take out the rubber in the air hole,
5. Use this chip resetter to reset it, cartridge can be used again.
