Nuclear Industry Yantai Tongxing Industry Co., Ltd. is a provincial high-tech enterprise of “transfer of military technology to civil use” affiliated to Shandong Office of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry, and there are nine subsidiaries and seven production bases under the company.
Fused silica ceramic crucible, a leading product of Yantai Hejing Ceramic Materials Co., Ltd., is a container used in the solar polysilicon ingot production process to load polysilicon material and make it melt and crystallize so as to produce polysilicon silicon ingot under the high temperature of 1650°C. It must work more than 50 hours continuously once and can not be broken in the whole process and the crucible component cannot be contaminated by the silicon ingot. With its severe service conditions, high technical performance requirements and difficult production technology, it is an irreplaceable key consumable material in the production process of polysilicon ingot.
The company owns new gelcasting technology with independent proprietary intellectual property rights. It not only has the advantages of high green-pressing strength, uniform structure, and one-time molding of traditional gelcasting technology, but also overcomes the disadvantage of low density of traditional gelcasting technology, with density and surface porosity reaching the level of slip casting crucible, structure far more uniform than that of slip casting crucible, product safety greatly improved, and many technical norms reaching or exceeding international advanced level.
Main Characteristics and Advantages of Fused Silica Ceramic Crucible
(1) Quartz ceramic slurry is directly solidified in the mould to get a ceramic body, the structure of the crucible with advantages of high density and low porosity.
(2) A model with unique material is used, so the size of crucible is uniform, and the conical degree of the crucible side wall is appropriate, which is beneficial to the reasonable distribution of thermal field and crystal growth of silicon materials in the process of ingot casting.
(3) The unique surface structure and uniform roughness of crucible inner wall are especially suitable for the spraying of silicon nitride coating, with strong adhesive force and the coating hard to strip.
(4) The green strength of Hejing molding technology is high, which has an incomparable advantage in production of large-size crucible.
Product quality
Hejing crucibles are subject to quality management and control in strict accordance with the requirements of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
Raw materials control: The quality of raw materials entering the factory is strictly controlled, and each batch of raw materials is inspected so as to ensure that all raw materials entering the factory meet the requirements.
Production process: The production process strictly complies with production regulations. With mold of unique materials, the products have a high green strength and are not easily to be damaged and the continuous firing tunnel furnace and dry kiln equipment ensure the uniform size and stable quality.
Quality inspection: nondestructive testing methods such as lamp inspection are adopted to ensure zero defect inside the crucible leaving factory. The detection report of each crucible is kept by the quality inspection division uniformly and the key data are recorded, kept and used for the improvement of production technology.

Product packaging: The crucibles having passed the inspection will be cleaned, dried and packed to ensure their cleanness.
