Physical Properties

Zinc carbonate, basic white fine amorphous powder. Odorless, tasteless. The relative density of 4.42-4.45. Do not dissolve in water and alcohol. Slightly soluble in ammonia. Can be soluble in dilute acid and sodium hydroxide. With 30% hydrogen peroxide effect, release carbon dioxide, the formation of peroxides.

Uses

Zinc carbonate, basic used as a light astringent and latex products raw materials. For the preparation of calamine lotion, used as a skin protective agent, can also be used in the production of artificial silk and catalytic desulfurization agent
