-- Metal diamond tools can be used for leveling the uneven, rough floor surface, and very abrasive surface. It is also intended for cut and removal of heavy old coatings such as paint, lacquer, epoxy, acrylic, and residues of adhesive and screed. Normally, it is especially suitable for thick grinding and removal of thick coatings.

-- Resin-bond diamond tools are many times used after the use of metal-bond diamond tools for floor grinding and polishing, from diamond grit number 50 to 3000. The higher grit number, the finer polishing effects. However, in some cases a resin-bond diamond tool can be used as a starting tool on smooth flat floors.
