For the old products of switching capacitor contactor such as CJ16, CJ19 and B series etc., they have the characteristics of short service life, inferior quality and burning contactors frequently, which greatly destroyed distribution equipment and lead to heavy economic loss. The dimming resistance circuit makes circuit at first and shunts heavy current of several tenfolds through main contact when the contactor switch on, restraining from impacting arc etc..B. When the contactor switches off from power off, the dimming resistance also makes circuits at first, then after the main contact has been broken, the resistance will return to its original post for cutting power immediately at any moment and shunting the current through main contact.
