The launching gantry is used to place concrete bridge and pier segments for elevated roadways and bridges by spanning the distance between a finished road segment and the next roadway pier or column. While spanning this distance, the launching gantry picks up each bridge segment and suspends the segments from beneath the overhead truss moving the segments into place.

The whole crane are composed of steel frame, mechanism(power device)and electric control system. 

 steel frame is composed of main girder, cross connect beam of main girder, cross beam of upside overhead hoist trolley, high strength “U”shape cross beam of foreside cart assembly, high strength “U”shape cross beam of middle cart assembly, lengthways travel rail of upside overhead hoist trolley, cross travel rail of upside overhead hoist trolley, cross travel rail beam of crane foreside, cross travel rail beam of crane middle, power supply bracket of each mechanism and ladder.
