Double-roll dry magnetic separator series uses ultra strong magnetic rolls, two track separation design and is suitable for sorting weak magnetic ores, such as limonite and manganese ores, whose grade after separation can be improved by 10-25%.
The entire machine is structurally simple, rigid, and suitable for efficient production in harsh environment. It is easy to operate and repair, dresses ores fully, and brings high-grade concentrates. The machine body has a full-magnetic roll at the upper and lower stages respectively, whose diameter is 150mm, magnetic field strength over 13000GS, and magnetic system 1000mm long. This design enables the magnetic field to make a gradient separation of 0.04~2mm ores. The belt roller is less likely to be affected by grain size during separation, and because the coexistence of impurities and mineral crystals in large-grained ores, the fine-scale is low and the mineral crystals are more likely to be affected by the potential energy of impurities. Therefore, strong full-magnetic roller is usually used directly for primary and secondary separations for the purpose of improving the mineral recovery.
Motions of the machine are controlled by a dedicated control box, whose power source is a 1.5KW speed-adjustable motor that guarantees stable and sustainable operation of mechanical components, and in the meantime enables the operator to control the speed flexibly. Rigorous calculation of transmission ratio ensures an improved handling capacity in a real sense under the premise of guaranteeing the ore grade and achieves an expectation of 3-5 tons per hour on average. Based upon the grades of discharged ores from the discharge port of the machine, they can be divided into concentrates, middlings and tailings, which can even be divided into primary concentrates, secondary concentrates, middlings and tailings at request.
Main Functions and Characteristics of the Machine:
(i) It is to sort out grain-size 0.04~2mm magnetic minerals, and on the basis of feasible magnetic separation, it uses strong magnetic roll for primary and secondary separation by means of the double-roll design so that mineral recovery is improved significantly.
(ii) It uses permanent magnetic system to maintain working stability and ensure the concentrate grade.
(iii) The entire construction is simple: the transmission part is externally exposed to achieve quick maintenance and repair during operation.

(v) As it incorporates high-level electrical control technology, operations are quick and straightforward and can improve operating efficiency and in the meantime relieve operator’s labor intensity.
(vi) The sorting bucket of the machine is provided with an adjustable partition board that is made of stainless steel and can effectively ensure machine life and meanwhile avoid the possible impact of rust on mineral grade. The partition board can be adjusted flexibly and fixed quickly, and play an important role in guaranteeing ore grade in production.
