Brief Introduction

Double roll crusher adopts shearing-crushing technology, basically eliminating overcrushing phenomenon. Suitable for the primary, secondary and tertiary crushing stage in borehole operation, opencast mine, plant crushing system.

Mode of Operation

In the primary stage, the feed material undergoes a size reduction between the counter-rotating rolls running inwards inside the center crusher. In the secondary and tertiary crushing stage, the material is crushed between rolls rotating outwards and the crushing comb. In both cases, size reduction is effected by shear and tensile forces, generated by high roll torques at low circumferential speeds.

Primary Structure

The crusher mainly consists of housing, motor(anti-explosion), fluid coupling, gearbox, mechanical coupling and crushing rolls.

 1. Fluid Coupling

Fluid coupling is used for the connection between motor and gearbox, reducing starting impact and vibration, as well as providing overload protection.

2. Crushing Rolls

Presenting staggered and helical arrangement, crushing roll is the critical component for directly crushing materials.

3. Overload Protective Device

To obtain total operation monitor and control, it is utilized of speed detection system and cyber monitor of PLC programmable controller. In case of overload, the motor is equipped with manual-reverse operation to protect the normal operation from the damage of blocking and overload.
