1 Application: PVC films are widely used in construction industry. It has high mechanical strength, chemical stability, and strong resistance against acid, alkali.Because PVC (polyvinyl chloride molecule) contains many chlorine, it has a good fire retardant.    

PVC is not soluble in water, alcohol and petrol. It has a good electric insulation. Therefore it is usually produced to be insulating layer of wire and cable.
