Working principle of Holtop  Fire resistant counterflow residential air to air heat exchanger  

 Two neighbor ER. paper form a channel for fresh or exhaust air stream. When the two air steams passing through the exchanger conversely with temperature  and humidity difference, the energy is recovered.
