Fiber glass Mat 

We have three types of Fiber Glass Mat: Chopped Strand mat, Sitiched Strand mat, Combo mat. They are specially manufactured for different usages.

1. Fiberglass Chopped Strand mat

Fiberglass Chopped Strand Mat is non-woven E fiberglass product manufactured by spreading continual filament rovings of 50mm in length and uniformly in combination with polyester binder in powder form or in emulsion form. Unit weight frm 100g to 900g/m2

Fiber glass chopped strand mat is suitable for application by hand lay-up, reinforce and machine FRP molding, such as interior decoration of vehicles, boat hulls, sanitary ware, anticorrosive pipes, tanks, building materials, tables, chairs and all kinds of composite FRP products.

2. Fiber Glass Stitched Strand mat 

E fiber glass stitched strand mat is made of chopped fiberglass strands randomly dispersed and laid on a roving matrix (or without roving matrix), then knitted together by organic fiber. It is compatible with polyester, phenolic and epoxy resin.

 

E fiber glass stitched strand mat  is mostly used primarily in pultrusion, RTM, filament winding, compression molding and lay-up processed. Typical products include pultruded pipes, storage tanks, wind generator blades and other FRP products.

 

3. Fiber Glass Combo mat/ combination mat

 

Two layers of rovings(550--1250 g/Square meter) are aligned at 0°/90° with or with-out a layer of chopped strands(0--500 g/Square meter). The product has a maximum width of 110 inches.

Fiber Glass Combo mat/ combination mat sare compatible with polyester,vinyl ester, phenolic and epoxy resins.The product is used most widely in the boat industry and the typical end-use applications include FRP boat hulls, laminates,automotive housings,cooling apparatus and structural shapes.
