Diamond grit electroplated in carbon steel. Mat finish plastic handle. One groove one both side. Sharpens hooks from size 24 to 6 without any problems. 4 inch is easy to carry. Comes with a lanyard and plastic pouch packing. We also can do 6 inch which can be applied for hooks from size 10 to size 4. And for 6 inch one; it is medium diamond grit on one side and heavy grit on the other side
