More details :

* SMS support for residual credit: 99% of Italian and European SIM card are pre-paid. This means that the credit can be expired and you won't know what's going on, unless you get the sim card out of the gsm fwt and test it on a cellphone. This function would work like this:

with your cellphone you send an SMS to the sim card inside the gsm with this format: "CREDIT, xxxx, " where xxxx is the sms number of the carrier and is the command to ask for the residual credit;

- the gsm fwt will receive this sms from you and will forward the to the xxxx number;

- the gsm fwt will receive back the sms from the carrier;

- the gsm fwt will forward this sms to you.

-->please mind the sms string must be separated by ','

-->if the carrier no response in 3 minutes, fwt will not forward sms to you.

* incoming sms support for alarm panels: currently our alarm panels don't support sms. Our panels support the telecontrol: you call them, you put a password through your cellphone keyboard then then you give a command. Everything with DTMF commands. My idea is to let the gsm fwt to simulate the phone call by sending proper DTMF commands to the alarm panel.

For example, currently it works like this:

- I call the gsm fwt, the alarm panel will ring 5-7 times and answer the phone call with a beep;

- I hear the beep on the cell phone and I put the password pressing, for example 0 0 0 0 on the cellphone keyboard;

- the panel will acknoweldge the password with a beep;

- I give a command with a DTMF keyboard key;

- the panel acknowledge the command;

- I close the phone;

This can be easily emulated like this:

- I send an sms to the gsm fwt's SIM card like: "COMMAND,, "

- the gsm fwt will receive it and will simulate a phone call to the alarm panels, which is connected to the rj11 outlet;

- it will wait for the alarm panel to answer, then put the then the and then close the line;

- an sms will be sent back to the user;

Obviously I will send you the alarm panels for you to test but I think it should be easy, as all industrial gsm modules support sms.

-->please mind the sms string must be separated by ','

--> we connect fwt to the alarm panel LX-HS05 and test as:

-User send sms: "COMMAND, 0000, 7"

-fwt send ring

-when alarm panel answer call, fwt detect "DI-DI" sound from panel, then send DTMF '*' to panel, then detect "DI" from panel, then send to panel, then detect "DI-DI-DI-DI"(password correct) or "DI-DI-DI" (password not correct), then send if password correct.

-if setting panel success fwt will send "panel setup ok" or "panel setup failure" if failure.

Then we have two relays:

* first relay: this is clean contact relay (7 Ampere):

this relay can be used to turn on/off the Air conditioning, lights and so on by sms. You can trigger this output by sms like "DOMOTICA ON" will turn it on "DOMOTICA OFF". This function has nothing to do with the alarm panel.

--> fwt will send back sms "relay turn on." or "relay turn off." if command accept.

* second relay: normally closed relay output for low battery OR normally closed relay output for no gsm signal: if there is no gsm signal for more than x minutes (x can be set), then this output will be triggered. This can be useful to reveal gsm jamming made by a thieft. Do you have a gsm jammer? how does it work? This output can be connected by wire to the alarm panel. The same relay will also have another function: if the internal battery of the gsm fwt will reach a low level, it will trigger this output. The two functions for this relay can be set: you can enable one or both functions.

-->we have 2 setting commands by DTMF

-->fwt can authenticate or not incoming sms number
