Excellent plasticizer for cellulose esters and ethers; used in manufacturing of plastics, especially celluloid; in lacquers and varnishes; in pyrotechnics; in embalming fluids; as moth repellent, as perservative in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics; in compounding excitant and cardiac stimulant; in manufacturing cymene, camphor-10-sulfonic acid, camphor sulfonic acid sodium salt, camphotamide, camphorcarboxylic acid, champhoric acid, camphol, bornyl acetate, isobornyl acetate atc.
