Acetylene is one of the most simple and important chemical compound in acetylene series. It has an active chemical property, easy to synthesize, polymerize and cause other chemical reactions. Process for obtaining dissolved acetylene is as follows: using compressor to charge the acetylene in gas state into steel cylinder filled with porous material and solvent (acetone), to make acetylene gas dissolved in acetone solvent. When used in actual application, acetylene gas is released from acetone solvent, producing the dissolved acetylene. Equipment's needed in generation acetylene gas, purification, compression, drying and charging are called Dissolved Acetylene Equipment.
