Flexible graphite roll: Property: It is made from high-carbon flaky graphite through chemical treatment, expanding under high temperature and then rolling. It is characterized with high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance against many kinds of media, good self-lubricating properties, low coefficient of friction, and special flexibility & rebound resilience.

Application: It is widely used in dynamic seal and static seal of machines, pipes, pumps and valves of such fields as electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, instruments and machinery.

The producing process of the flexible graphite sheet

 

1. A brief introduction of the whole production line.

   We use this production line(as the following photos present) to produce the flexible graphite sheet. This production line adopts international advanced technologies, making us produce high quality flexible graphite sheet and having become a powerful tool for us to meet the different requirements of our customers.

 

2. The raw material-expansible graphite.

   The expansible graphite comes from good mine and mineral resources, making sure the superior quality of the expansible graphite and a good start of the production from the beginning.

 

3. The mixing process.

   In this process, the expansible graphite is poured into the mixer to be well mixed. And after the mixing, they go into the hopper.

 

4. The expansion process.

   After mixing, the expansible graphite goes into the expansion stove to be high temperature expanded. The S, chlorine and many other chemical elements are get rid of from the expansible graphite in the expansion stove.

 

5. The transportation of the having been expanded graphite.

   In this process, the graphite is transported by the draught fan from the expansion stove to the material pool.

 

6. The preliminary roll-forming of the flexible graphite sheet.

   After passing through the material pool, the flexible graphite sheet is preliminary formed.

 

7. The adjusting process of the density and thickness of the flexible graphite sheet.

   There are many groups of rolls in the production line. Through these rolls, the adjusting of the density and thickness is fulfilled.

 

Then the flexible graphite sheet is produced.
