General & Use:

Clear, 52% Calcium Bromide brine, by itself (at 14.2 lb/US gallon) or combined with Calcium

Chloride, will give oil and gas well completion, workover and packer brines with bulk densities of up to 15.1 lb/US gallon. Brines with crystallization points of as low as -30°C are supplied for use in cold climates.

The Calcium Bromides as a Bromine-containing compounds, added to the coal, or to the boiler combustion furnace, can be used to oxidize the mercury present in the coal, thereby enhancing theoverall removal of mercury in downstream pollution.

 

Storage and Handling:

 

Protect containers from damage and keep them well closed. Store in a cool, well - ventilated, dry

and shaded area. Mild steel or stainless steel containers may be used for limited periods only.

Avoid inhalation, ingestion and contact with eyes and skin.
