Pipe Handing Davit System (PHDS) are positioned to the side of a barge and used for lifting or lowering a pipe string from or to the seabed for maintains or repair services.  The PHDS exists of 5 or 6 pipeline lifting davits, which can be controlled separately. Furthermore a Remote Control Console (RCC) is supplied from where the units are controlled simultaneously. 
1)Each davit has hinged boom, sheaves, retracting cylinders, winch, hydraulic power unit, local control cabinet assembly and remote control console. Pipe handing Davit Crane System for sale .
2) The davits are designed with a Safe Work Load (SWL) on the wire at an angle of ±30° to the vertical in the vessels longitudinal direction. The SWR will move smoothly in or out within this range.
