we mean a chiller unit is built-in with all system components of cooling tower, cooling water pumps, chilled water pumps, water expansion tank, system control panel box. And together with all associated piping, valves, gauges and starters are connected as well as components power supply and controls are factory installed within the unit. The major feature of this unit is that the site installation work is completed in this a factory built-in compact product. Feature

  To provide constant chilled glycol temperature at set point, timers and thermostats motor control to cycleoff when glycol temperature is below the set point at considerable time, high condensing pressure, highampere safety interlocks with visible and audible alarms (LED status for power and alarm and softbuzzer) .The chiller should also be fitted with supply hot water temperature control to automaticallyoperate air-cooled condenser when the hot water exceeds the set point.

On-board Microprocessor Control Chiller control system includes safety and operating controls. If theequipment malfunctions, the safety control shuts the chiller down to prevent serious damage to themachine.

EVAPORATOR:• Shell and Tube Type• Fully insulated (1” thick aeroflex or equivalent) with vapor seal.• Complete with sight glass, pressure and temperature gauges, removable waterbox cover, drainand air vent cock (1 per pass), pressure relief valve(re-seating spring loaded type)at evaporatorside and water box , water piping connections, and other necessary refrigerant connections.• Fabrication shop hydro tested at 450 psig.• Built in sight glass for checking refrigerant level• Maximum length: 10 ft• Tube Material: Hard Drawn Copper ,  

COMPRESSORS:• Two sets of R134a Or Hanbell compressors (Hanbell Brand)•  First stage independent reciprocating compressor capacity , 460V AC, 3 phase / 380v-3phase-50Hz •Second stage independent compressor reciprocating capacity, 460V AC, 3 phase / 380v-3phase-50Hz 60 Hz

• Integral oil heater and filter; equipped with hour-meter and kW-hr meter, voltmeter and ammeter,and soft motor starter.• Vibration spring with pad on a concrete foundation.• Connected to refrigerant piping via flexible pipe connection.• Positive lubrication, low oil level switch and motor over-temperature protection• Pressure gauge connections (suction and discharge).

   

For screw chiller efficiency will be lower than centrifugal chiller as below:Dry type evaporater COP=3.1-3.8Flood type evaporater COP=5.1-5.3Spray type Evaporater COP=5.3-5.6
