This melting furnace consists of furnace body, inductor, hydraulic tilting system, water cooling system and electrical control system.
It is a kind of vertical structure with round shape. Its shell wall is built by steel plate by the way of welding while the hearth is built by refractory brick and ramming materials. The support adopts shape steel welded.
It consists of induction coil, core, channel, ramming refractory and water cooler. The inductor is cooled by water. Between induction coil and water cooler, there is a special material isolated. When installed, the inductor is on the base of up surface of the flange.
It contains one set of hydraulic station and two pieces of cylinders. A throttle valve is equipped on the system so that the speed of the cylinder movement is adjustable within the speed of 1.2m/min. When the tilting angle of the furnace reaches 30 degree, it is for normal pouring. The tilting angle is limited to 95 degree, which is usually for empty the furnace.
It parallel supplies four pipelines of cooling water respectively. One line is to the induction coil. The second is to water cooler. The third is to three coils of auto-transformer in serial. The forth is to two coils on the reactor in serial. The water delivery in each pipeline is adjustable by valve.
It adopts the technique of three-phase equilibrium which consists of air circuit breaker, contactors, three-phase auto transformer, equilibrium reactor and capacitors, etc.
