4. Software Control

MCCS is an installation-free software which serves two purposes:

1) All of the button functions in the controller panel can be equally implemented in this software

2) Input the RS232 code into this controller so that it can control the projector via RS232 port

Users are required to input the RS232 code to the controller to control the projector.

Below is the MCCS software interface

The right section of the sofware interface is Projector control code, which includes Baud Rate and Parity and six functional assignments. Baud rate ranges from 1200 to 115200, six level optional. Parity includes No/Even/Odd. Please note that the correct code input format is a bit by a bit, which is separated by space bars.

5. IR Code LearningThis controller support infrared code learning. To read the codes. Turn on the controller, switch it to Desktop mode, press until the LED indicator is on. Then press until the LED indicator in this button is flashing, which means the controller is waiting for code assignment. Press the corresponding button (projector on) in the remote control and point toward . And the LED indicator in will stop flashing, which means the codeassignment for this button is finished. Repeat the same step for other buttons and press ( in the software interface) once the code assignments are finished.

6. Controller OperationSwitch on and off the projector:After all the necessary devices are connected, switch on the projector and press projector on, the controller sends the codes to turn on the projector. Press projector off to terminate the operation. Once the Projector off is pressed, all the buttons will not work except Projector on.Signal SwitchWhen laptop is used, connect it to the VGA port of the front panel of this controller. Connect the standard 3.5mm stereo jack to the audio input port and press laptop button. If you want to switch to desktop PC, press Desktop.Blank ScreenWhen the projector is on, press Blank Screen button for blank screen to save power and protect the projector bulb.Volume controlPress Volume+ Volume- Mute to adjust the volumeMicrophone signal is mixed with the controller audio signal, therefore the volume cannot be adjusted separately.
