Features
The single column VTL model C5120-1 is a super rigid machine with big machining capacities, stable structure and high machining efficiency. The machine is equipped with one vertical tool head and can be equipped with high precision digital readout system (DRO). Electric encoder together with electromagnetic valves is integrated into the gear box. Gears are made of 40 Cr steel and precision ground for high precision and low machine noise. Electrics are controlled by LS / OMRON / KOYO brand PLC.
The machines are designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed cutting tools and carbide cutters on workpieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.
Functions: 1. I.D. turning & O.D. turning,
2. end-facing,
3. cone turning,
4. grooving, parting / cut off, etc.
Machine Body
The main body of the machine is made of high rigid resin castings with thermal stress relief aging treatment. Small cast iron bodies are hardened with high temperature. All the steel parts are thermal refined.
Machine main structure
High torque AC 37 kW main motor is adopted for driving the table through gear box. 16 speeds are achieved on the table. Double row cylindrical roller bearing is equipped under the table. The cone inner ring of the bearing can eliminate the radial clearance effectively for high precision and stable machining at high speed.
Hydrostatic working table
Hydrostatic table adopted with constant flow synchronous pump features:
a). low friction for permanent life of table,
b). heavy load capacity on table,
c). oil film between machine base and table absorbs
cutting vibration & loads,
d). a safety system controls the hydrostatic pressure for optimum safety.
