Our Heavy Duty Deadbolt, alternatively called a “rim deadbolt”or “surface mount rim cylinder deadbolt” on the market, is a single cylinder deadbolt with a 5 pin tumbler cylinder that requires a key to lock and unlock from the outside. Unlike the long thin shape of most deadbolts on the market, our heavy duty deadbolt comes with a hardened plate in a shell-cover shape that keeps the thumb-turn knob firmly in place while allowing you to lock the deadbolt from the inside with the ease of a twist. Once the knob is turned, it keeps the solid steel throw bolt in a retracted position. Again, this feature ensures your deadbolt doesn’t accidentally lock you out. Install by lining up the jamb mounting strike plate with the lock. The bulkier built of the throw bolt provide superior strength that resists prying and picking. This type of heavy duty deadbolt is made with harden casing and the thicker materials makes it more durable and tempering-resistant. This model is particularly popular in colder weather areas and the sturdy lock body looks elegant on classic double-wooden door. Besides the standard Key-different (KD) model, our heavy duty deadbolt can be keyed-alike (KA) well as Mater-keyed (MK) to serve your needs.

Packaging options
