Materials- We need to know material information to properly quote your job. Most drawings clearly identify the required material. Some material specifications can be a problem, resulting in both quotation and production delays. These more difficult material specs can greatly affect cost and usually involve special types, special tempers, non-standard thickness and special thickness tolerances. If your drawings use special internal company material codes, please attach a material specification sheet. Tolerances- Practical tolerances vary according to the design of the part, its ultimate use, the size of the part, the operations to be performed and the material to be used. This really means that each part has its own practical tolerance. But generally speaking, the tighter the dimensional tolerance, the higher the cost will be
