Application

The roller reamer (drilling reamer) is used for all kinds of reaming stabilization in drilling operation, especially the function of stabilization in drilling of the abrasive formation. It is a very popular tool for hole size from 4 5/8” to 26”. Additionally, it can be used in different hole when same body is equipped with different bearing block and rollers.

Structural Features

The body is made of high quality alloy steel, fully heat treated to 285-341brinell hardness and 54J minimum impact strength. Rollers can be changed easily at the well.

Rollers

The roller reamer can be equipped with the following 3 kinds of rollers for different formation.

"T" type: narrow-teeth type is used for cutting of hole wall for soft formation.

"F" type: wide-flat-teeth type is used for crushing into pieces of borehole wall for medium and hard formation.

"B" type: Inserted tungsten carbide alloy type is for hard formation.
