     carbide punches and dies, well supported and properly aligned, are satisfactory for blanking and punching. Good ferrous and non-ferrous wire is drawn through a series carbide dies in a process of elongating and reducing the wire's diameter.     Recommended Grade or  carbide dies: YG6, YG8, YG6X, YG8X, YG15, YG20C, YD40, YD45 etc.
