Sintering presses multiple layers of mesh together and then heats them in a furnace to a temperature just below melting point until the metal in the mesh adheres to itself. The sintered mesh becomes a much stronger rigid integrated structure. Sintered mesh is attractive for high pressure applications. The standard materials is AISI 304,316L.
