Availability

TNHAL is a commercial product available as the neat pyrophoric liquid and as pyrophoric and nonpyrophoric solutions in a variety of hydrocarbon solvents.

Storage

TNHAL and its solutions are stable when stored under a dry, inertatmosphere and away from heat. TNHAL decomposes slowly above ~100°CDecomposition products include hydrogen,hexene-1 andelementaI aluminum.

Packaging andtransport

TNHAL and its solutions are available in cylinders and portable tanksIn North America only. TNHAL is also available in tank trailers and rail cars.Containers are fabricated from carbon steel and are equipped with diptubes for top discharge and all connections are located in the vapor spaceBoth packaging and transport meet the international regulations
