DVR rearview mirror is developed in-house by GERMID that combines functions of recording, photographing and reversing in one for special cars. There are 7 buttons below the mirror. The button to power button’s left is a light sensor. And there is an indicator light on power button’s right. The hole at the far left is the microphone. On the right side of rearview mirror, you can see a SD card slot. 32GB is the maximum memory that the rearview mirror can support. You can use it to store the recorded videos. Behind the rearview mirror, there is a 2 megapixel camera with a 120 degree shot angle. And the range of camera’s revolving adjustment is 150 degree in horizontal direction and 160 degree in vertical direction. It can record two kinds of videos that are 720p and 480p.

DVR rearview mirror can be classified into 2-video-input mirror and 3-video-input mirror.

2-video-input Mirror: One is car’s front camera that shoots the scene of car’s front side. The other is back camera that shoots the scene of car’s back side. When you start the car, two cameras begin to work at the same time. When you shift to the reverse gear, the screen will show backup camera display and the brightness of screen will change with ambient light.

3-video-input Mirror: One is car’s front camera. One is the back camera and the other is defined by the user. And we add an interior camera to shoot the scene of car’s inside. When you start the car, the front camera and interior camera work together. When you shift to the reverse gear, the screen will show backup camera display. At the moment, the interior camera stops working and the front camera and back camera start to work at the same time.
