Support Ring tower internals:

The support Ring laid out in a uniform pattern where the open area approaches or exceeds the cross-sectional area of the tower.Owing to support Ring is customized product, we can produce it upon our customer's requirement.

The flat Support ring is used for small column diameters. The hydraulic conditions need to be taken into consideration as this type of support ring has a relatively low free cross-section.

Support ring needs to be welded to the column of the wall to hold the support plate. The width of ths support ring should be 50 mm for column diameters up to 2000 mm,65 mm for column diameters from 2000 mm to 3500 mm and 75 mm for column diameter greater than 3500 mm. Columns greater than about 2000 mm in diameter may require midspan support depending upon bed height and liquid hold-up. Gennerally it is not necessary to bolt or clamp the support plate sections together or to the support ring since the weight of the packing will in most casee be sufficient to provent any movement of the support plate in service
