In traditional medicine, N-Acetyl L-Cysteine can be used for many conditions and situations. The amino acid derivative can be used to reverse the effects of acetaminophen and is commonly used in patients who have carbon monoxide poisoning. Angina, bile duct blockage in children and Lou Gehrig’s disease patients also use N-Acetyl L-Cysteine.
