The link insulator is used for high-voltage insulation and mechanical connection between the frame of the corona electrodes and the clad of the electrostatic precipitator. The link insulators are made in two modes: fitting-incorporated and of single solid porcelain body.
The fitting-incorporated insulator consists of porcelain body and two end fittings assembled together with thermo-resistant cement, with rolled or sanded connecting surface, with thermo-resistant cushion and resilient coating between porcelain body and end fittings for preventing from loosing and torsion and ensuring mechanical strength.
The insulator of single porcelain body has no metal fitting.
The porcelain body surface is covered with brown or white glaze while the surface of metal fittings with anti-corrosion painting. The link insulators conform to the stipulations of GB/T772-2005 Technical specifications of high-voltage porcelain insulators.they can be used at surrounding temperature up to 250°C,with working voltage classes from 72kV to 120kV,and the tensile failing load not less than 15kN
