1. Technology working principle

It adopts the plasma technology by using the non-elastic collision between the energetic particles (e+ e- OH- O3 O2+ N+ H+) and the small size particles and oil mist particles in polluted DOP oil fumes and mist, converting the energy into the internal energy of pullted medium (small size oil mist molecules and particles), the meteoric shower shaped energetic particles and the molecules in polluted medium have such series of physical and chemical reactions as activation with each other, decomposition, ionization and charging which put the molecules in polluted medium in an activated condition and create activated free radicals (e+ e-),the post-activated molecules in polluted medium are adsorbed by orientated chain reaction. When the average power of the energetic particles in plasma exceeds the bonding power of chemical chain in polluted medium, the molecule chain in polluted medium will break and be decomposed, and then be adsorbed and collected under the function of plasma low voltage electric field. The types of the chemical reaction in plasma low-voltage electric field are subject to the composition of the molecules in polluted medium, the average power of energetic particles in plasma, the density of ions, air temperature, the density of polluted medium and ingredients of the co-existed medium.

Under the condition of calculating the effective wind speed and staying time, the adsorption and recycling rate of the plasma eliminator on DOP oil fumes and mist can reach over 96%.

3). Brief on DOP--Dioctyl phthalate is a common plasticizer and it is mainly used for the processing of such polymers as polyvinyl chloride resin, chemical fibre resin, acetate resin, ABS resin and rubber, it is also employed in paint, dyes and dispersant production.

3. Technical processes

The air containing immense dusts and DOP oil fumes and mist molecules is emitted during the process of plastic pelletization, rubber mixing, calendering and extension, it spreads freely accross the production working sites and it not only contaminates the products but seriously harms the health of operators.

A suction hood is installed at the postion where the DOP oil fumes and mist is given off, then the oil fumes and mist is discharged outside through a ventilation duct connecting with plasma DOP oil fumes and mist eliminator, by this means the DOP oil fumes and mist are adsorbed and purified and run its way directly to the precipitator.

The DOP dirty oil collected could be re-used or resold.
