The tap knob also has a "stay-on"spring, so users never have to crawl around in the grass looking for a spring that popped out. Two split spools make refilling easy and reduce the chance of twining or welding.

The eyelet through which the line is threaded is made of aluminum for linger life, and it is replaceable for easy servicing and lower operating costs.
