The roll-wrapping means the carbon prepreg is laid up on a mandrel to reach structural properties and specific dimensions. Once the prepreg carbon is laid up on the mandrel, the heat-shrink wrap is applied on the tube to make sure the resin distribute throughout the tube evenly when the tube is in the oven for the resin to cure.
