15PPM BILGE SEPARATOR

Application

1.  a new type of vacuum separator applied to deal with bilge water and oily water from ports and other industrial facilities.It meets both the resolution IMO-MEPC107(49)and the regulations of less than 10mg/lissued by the national government,and has gained the approval of ccs and IMO.

2. 6 type with the capacity from 0.25m3/h to 5m3/h. It is composed of one class and   two class separator,special pump,electric control box,oil content data recorder monitor,automatic

Valve,inspect system and other accessories.

3. The oily water is not sucked directly into the special pump of the system,this may avoid emulsification of original oily water,thus gaining a satisfactory resuit in 1 st separator and lighter the burden of 2nd emulsified oil separator,prolong the life of epuipment.

4. The coalescence unit in the 1 st separator wil be provided automatic flush against blockage,no

Replacement is repuired for long time service.

5. With easy operation and high reliability,the automatic diversion between 1 st and 2nd sepewater,the automatic discharge control device and other safety protection meacures are adopted to meet the requirement of unmanned engine room.

6. Whenever the oil content has overstepped the upper limit prescribed by IMO, the equipment will

alarm and return the water to bilge automatically.

Principle description

1. During special screw pump draws treated water at the outlet of first stage separator,cause vacuum  in the first stage separator.Bilge water should enter  into the separator and diffuse through coarse filter,top water adsorber/oil discharged valve,start to separate oil water primarily,big oil drop float up to top collection chamber.Dirty water include tiny oil drop should enter into the tailor-made congregation,to be collected and separated in the element,form bigger drop and float up to top collection chamber.First treatment water through the separator bottom to be discharged outlet,discharge overboard through water discharging 3-way valve,first,second change valve(N.O,N.C solenoid valve)and first water discharging stop check valve.

2. When discharged water from first stage separator is over 15ppm,oil in water monitor would transmit alarm signal,change valve(N.O,N.C solenoid valve)operating,first stage discharging water  enter into second stage emulstion oil separator and continue to be separated and filtrated finely.Discharging water below 15ppm would be discharged overboard through second stage solenoid valve(second stage stop check valve),then return back to first stage separator and treated every half an hour,recover above treatment process.When second emulsion oil separator treatment function failed and second discharge water is  over 15ppm,oil in water monitor would transmit alarm signal again.Solenoid valve returning to tank shoulb be opened ,treatment water return to bilge bottom by the valve.

   When treatment function should be second stage finely separated,top scum regulating valve of emulsion oil separator should be open normally,a part of oily water with fine suspended solid return to bilge and induce to jammed resistance of tiny filter,open clearance of scum regulate valve should adjust to 1/2 rated discharging capacity,through sighting flow-meter.

3. When separated dirty oil should be up to the extent of collection on the top of first separator,Oil level detector to transmit signal,pneumatic type separator device let first stage treatment solenoid valve open,compressed air should enter into top pneumatic cylinder of three 3-way valves,drive piston downward,close the N.O port,open the N.c port,bilge water enter into the separator temporarily,separated water to stop discharging temporarily.Sea water(F.W)enter pump suction through N.C port from pump outlet,to be back-flushing reversely through the congregation and make separator inner change into pressure state from vacuum.Collecting dirty oil on the top discharge to dirty oil tank through top water adsorber/discharging oil 3-way valve N.C port.
