HIGHLIGHTS

The line produces very high quality tin-plate in wide format to supply stamping lines for beverage cans production. It runs at very high speed (up to 650 m/min at entry/exit section) and it allows obtaining very thin strip thicknesses. The line uses Phenol Sulphonic Acid (PSA) electrolyte but space provisions have been left for converting into Methane Sulphonic Acid (MSA) and for inserting future Tin Free Steel (TFS) coating tanks with relevant circuits.A double loop tower (24 strands each), located between the entry section and the process one, allows maintaining the process section at full speed during coil loading operations.
