Based on the requirements of Dalian city government, DL4W tram car in the style of the ancients for Dalian No.203 line was developed in 2004. The tram car adopted such advanced technologies as bolter power bogie with motor integral mounted, AC transmission speed sensor-less vector control, microcomputer monitoring control and fault detection indication, electro-pneumatic brake accompanying with regenerative brake and dynamic brake, elastic wheel, etc. Its appearance and interior decoration were designed in the style of the ancients. The sample tram car was carried out ribbon cutting and trial operation on July 1st, 2004. Now it is running on No.202 test line for passengers.

During DL4W tram car in the style of the ancients manufacturing, our company not only provided such products as power bogie, unpowered bogie with independent wheels, microcomputer control, fault diagnosis, but also developed 100kVA AC traction inverter for tram car in the style of the ancients.
