Brief introduction

rotary dryers for corn drying is widely used to dry the materials such as ore, coal ash, slag and clay in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry and cement industry. It is mainly made up of the rotor, stuff-raising plate, transmission device, support device and seal rings.

Working Principle

Working principle: the wet material to be dried will be sent to the slio by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, then fed to the dryer feed end by feeder, the feeding pipeline slope should be more than the natural slope of material to make the material can go into the dryer smoothly.

Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder, and slightly sloping into horizontal. The material join from higher, the heat body join from the low end, then have a counter-current with material. Heat body and material flow into the cylinder body together, then with the rotation of the cylinder, the material move to the lower for gravity.

The wet material in the cylinder get the heat from the body directly or indirectly in the process of moving forward, which makes the wet material dry. Then the wet material is sent out by belt conveyor or screw conveyor at the diacharging mouth.

A plate is fixed in the innder cylinder, which is used to gather the material and scatter itself. It can make the contact surface between material and gas become large to increase the feeding rate.

The loading gas is separated into hot air, smoking gas. The spiral wind exhausting cleaner gather the material in gas and the gas is discharged when it pass by the packing exhauster.
