Characteristics
1. Containing large number of SiO2, so it has many nanometer micro holes both inside and outside.

3. Easily attached to aggregate surface after being added into asphalt to decrease the fluidity of the bitumen, and then increase the modulus of elasticity.
4. As the Active silicon can improve the physical performance of the asphalt mixtures, it can decrease the penetration of bitumen in mixtures while increasing the soften point, residual stability and dynamic stability.

Functions:
1. Improving the adhesive ability and adhesive strength of asphalt in mixtures, then increasing the hardness of bitumen to change the high temperature performance of mixtures, then make the asphalt mixture high density, low permeability and decrease the growth rate of hardening in later period.
2. Improving the anti-aging, anti-strain of the road.
3. Substantially improving the anti-skidding, abrasive resistance and the chemical stability of the road
4. Improving the anti-corrosion, acid-resistance and soda-resistance of the road
5. The cyclic annular structure of active silicon can prevent the refraction of sunshine on the road, improve the safety of driving
6. As the active silicon can increase the density of the mixture materials, decrease the voidage, it can improve the shock absorption of the road.
7. Not affected by temperature, oxidation, sunshine, ultraviolet ray and other external conditions
Operating method:
Add about 13% active silicon directly into the aggregate with normal asphalt directly then weld into mixture materials.
