The lithium chinastone is adepuate in whiteness and with extremely low contents of iron and titanium, but a higher content of lithium. It features the advantage of a reasonable chemical composition,evidencing the strong fluxing power for its higher contents of Li2O,K2O and Na2O,and the better emulsivity for a small amount of P2O5 in content . Also, it is provided with the sound plasticity for a large amount of sericite in content .The excellent and stable quality of the lithium chinastone makes it unique in China and one of the best ceramic and glass materials.

As this lithium chinastone has the pure quality,fine brightness,high content of base metal oxides such as Li2O,Na2O and K2O,and suitable amount of p2O5 and F and other components,it has the fine fluxibility and emulsification.

It achieves the high fluxibility and low expansion from the Li2O in the lithium chinastone,and the fine plasticity from the sericite in the mineral components.Thus,it can lower the firing temperature,cut down the firing period,widen the firing scope,improve the thermal stability of the product,and promote the tile strength as well.

As the lithium chinastone contains less harmful impurities like Fe2O3 and TiO2,together with the P2O5,it can form the [FeO6]3- structural group for Fe3+under the high temperature,cause no adverse color,and further improve the whiteness of the product. Such chemical reaction under the high temperature may enable the lithium to take the place of part of ZrSiO4 in the super-white ceramic tiles,and promote the emulsification of the tiles.Moreover,as the efficient fluxing agent,Li2O can not only melt the quartz,but also control its crystal transformation,and function successfully to lower the firing temperature of the product and prevent the second deformation.The liquid phase produced under the low temperature is helpful to lessen the holes,reduce the water absorption and improved the tile strength.
