Calcium metal can be used in steelmaking to produce high quality and special type steel.  The calcium treatment can the problem of clogging of caster nozzle in steelmaking and globularise alumina inclusions and consequently improve the transverse properties of the steel.Calcium metal can be used in battery Industry to produce lead-calcium alloy which is the raw material of the negative plate of VRLABIn other metallurgical Industry,calcium acts as deoxidizer and the reducing agent of other chemical composition in smelting the nonferrous metal,rare-earth metal and other metals which are difficult to be melted.As a reducing agent,calcium also can be used to produce some medical intermediate in medical Industry.

3.Metal drum
Stowage:
Cargo ships,or passenger ships which are carrying no more than 25 passengers or 1 per ON DECK OR UNDER DECK 3 meters(10 feet) of length Other passenger ships:PROHIBITED
								Observations:
In the event of fire, carbon dioxide extinguishers should not be used.The most satisfactory extinguisher is a dry powder such as sand.
